About the Company

G.A.T Industries & Trade Ltd. was founded in 1972 in Tel Aviv by Meir Teitelbaum, a Holocaust survivor and a strong Zionist. In 1980, the factory expanded and moved to Petah Tikva, and in 1993, with government encouragement, it relocated to the industrial zone in Karnei Shomron, its current location.

Today, the factory is led by Meir’s son, Yaakov Teitelbaum, who continues the family business. With extensive experience in metalworking, G.A.T. distinguishes itself by performing all stages of production without the need for subcontractors.

Subsidiary and Expertise

Our subsidiary, Carmel Cables, which has been a partner with us since 2019, manufactures mechanical cables for all types of vehicles, aircraft, tanks, mechanical engineering equipment, and machinery. The cables are manufactured according to drawings or samples, as well as engineering development according to customer needs.

The company’s factory covers an area of 2,500 sq m in the Karnei Shomron industrial zone, and recently the company’s offices have also moved to Karnei Shomron, on a mezzanine floor above the factory.

G.A.T. manufactures a wide range of metal products (steel, stainless steel, brass, aluminum, and also plastic). You can find in our detailed catalog a wide range of wrought iron products for furniture, military and civilian electronic enclosures, clamping products for civilian and industrial applications, wrought iron products for clean rooms, assemblies, and constructions.

We integrate rubber, plastic, and various castings into our products. The factory has the ability to handle a variety of products and combinations. Production is carried out from prototype to final finishing.
